ABOUT AMERICAN SPORTS FIELDS

American Sports Fields was founded in 2010, out of a garage in a backyard. Gaining experience working the fields as his sons grew up playing Baseball, Chris Zurcher found a strong passion for nurturing the sportsmanship and camaraderie of the game he knew and loved. Being able to provide quality supplies and resources to athletes was really all Chris was aiming for. The business aspect simply allowed him to continue spending time around athletics. It was, and still is, about the love of competition.

By word-of-mouth alone, American Sports Fields started to become an established brand in the larger Knoxville area. The relationships created along the way turned out to be true friendships at every turn. With the single goal of enabling sports communities to grow, the usual business-related stress commonly found in start-ups just wasn’t there. Now, Chris enjoys offering a wide variety of athletic field supplies to anyone who needs it.
